Dodgeball trauma: Gym class bullying turns kids off fitness, study finds
Thu Jan 23, 2014
This is so true. I was small as a kid and always got picked last for every team, picked on in dodge-ball, etc. I remember my team cheering when one of my volley ball serves actually made it over the net. It was all so humiliating and i hated sports! Only one I've ever had any …

In reply to: Robert Duckworth #1First, this is a beautiful piece, and I am deeply touched by her writing and the story. We should all be so blessed in life to find a relationship like theirs. Second, Mr. Duckworth, thanks for posting this as I am in a similar situation where my husband d …
Something old, new, borrowed and skimpy? Behold the bridal swimsuit!

In reply to: NY2VAGIRL #1 I agree! The first thing I noticed was that "thigh gap" or whatever they've been calling it - unrealistic for real women and this chick looks seriously anorexic. Thank you fashion designer!
Miley Cyrus gets embarrassingly raunchy at the VMAs
Sun Aug 25, 2013
We couldn't wait for the VMA's at my house. My two boys (11 and 13) were watching in one room and I was in the other. When she came on, my husband asked me to tell the kids to turn it OFF. The 11 year old said THANK YOU>! He didn't even want to see that mes …

I had a regular 27" TV (not flat screen) and had it on a Souder TV stand with wheels. I attempted to wheel the stand to another part of the room, and since it was on carpet and the TV was "front heavy", the stand and the TV went over forward, and the television exploded when it hit the gr …

Thu Jun 6, 2013
I just recently watched the entire series on HBO at 8:00 each evening. It was just as thrilling the second time around! Definitely the greatest TV show of all time. There were so many loose ends it looked as if they could just re-start the show or make a movie from right where they …

Jenna Wolfe: Pre-baby self-doubts in Terminal B
Tue May 14, 2013
I was scared to death my baby would be deformed, or something would go wrong with the delivery. My labor ended up being induced, but my son was perfect in every way. ;) Good luck!
Upstart chains a big worry for the big boys in the burger biz
Thu Sep 27, 2012
I love Five Guys, the fries are fantastic and the burgers taste like you cooked them at home. The regular size is almost too big! In and Out - we used to have one but they closed. I LOVED their Olive burger, with a bunch of green olives on it. Please In and Out - move back to the Detroit area!
